| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The small York Pond parking lot was full at 8 am, we were the 3rd car in the nearby Unknown Pond parking lot. The Starr King lot had around 8 cars at 4 pm, room for at least 4 more. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
No problem walking across the dam on York Pond Trail. The next 2 crossings were difficult for us. Since they are close together it might be easier to bushwhack to the left, cross the small stream and rejoin the trail. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
No recent blowdowns. Hundreds of blowdowns from the summit of North Weeks to Waumbek have been cleared, thank you. |

| Comments: |
We did a traverse from York Pond Road to Starr King Road. York Pond Trail was leaf covered all the way to Willard Notch, but is was never hard to follow the trail. Kilkenney Ridge Trail was easy to follow all the way to Starr King Trail, but there was a lot of mud. The trail could stand to be brushed near Mt Waumbek. The Starr King Trail also had a lot of mud on the upper portions. The first people we saw were at the Waumbek outlook. |
