| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Flipping Idiot Show!! We arrived at 7:15 am and only one legal spot was left after we parked. When we returned before noon, what a shitshow. Cars parked on the eastbound side of the highway all the way around the hairpin turn and cars parked in a row behind the headin parking so it was difficult to back out of our spaces and the entrance to the lot was chocked by cars parking on both sides making it a narrow one lane entrance/exit. I had to wait for a person driving in to back out so I could leave. No parking signs everywhere and so many people ignored them. Why aren't tickets being written up for these offenders???? |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Many muddy areas on the Hancock Notch Trail could be fixed by making them able to drain. I did my best to fix a few places using my hiking pole as a hoe.

| Comments: |
We started early and passed a few people along the way up but on the descent of South we passed a lot and many more making their way to the mountains. Amazingly we had the summits to ourselves and the greedy Jays, they took my pear. Lots of mud. Nice fall day.
The Hancock Loop Trail between the peaks is in serious need of blazing.
Thank you to the trail maintainer that has cut out so many blowdowns over the summer.
