| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Small pull off on Sandwich Notch Road for 3-4 cars. I came in from 49 and the road was just fine for my honda accord. It was slow going, i never topped 20mph but it’s not a race to the trailhead anyway |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Hank Williams really enjoyed meeting Beta the border collie at the summit. There were 2 scrambles where I hesitated and made sure i knew where to point Hank in the right direction. They ended up pretty easy. On the way back we may have by passed one but then again I don’t remember going off trail. Hank is a very experienced hiker do he was fine. I think any experienced hiking dog would be fine. |

| Comments: |
What a super trail! Beautiful woods, carpets of moss (moss on the sides of the trail where you want it, not on the rocks you’re climbing over), many open ledges with beautiful views to the Welch Dickey loop and beyond. There was even some foliage at the beginning. We saw no one on this trail. And 9 people on the summit. |
