Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Descent sized lot off Old Troy Rd. Lot was full at 11am with cars parked just past it on the road.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: Very minor and easy to hop 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Not specifically the trail, but the trailhead kiosk sign has an active wasp nest growing inside the plexiglass. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: We did see a sign when picking up the trail from the parking lot that said “No pets”, but we still saw 3 or so dogs on the trail.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a floral bandana not far below Jim’s Junction. Brought it down and left it at the kiosk. 
 
Comments
Comments: Nothing major to report. Trail is well blazed and not difficult to follow. Lots of foot traffic on this trail. As always, a windy day at the summit, so be prepared with layers!
