| Water Crossing Notes: |
I managed to cross the Wild River very carefully by scoping out down stream where the river widened. The water was thigh high in one spot. The crossing point where the trail enters was not possible as the channel was too deep. Another group scouted it out but decided not to cross. |

| Comments: |
Trail was very wet from all the rain the day before. One area part way up to the Kenduskeag junction from the Wild River side became a total running brook for about 50 feet of trail just below a waterfall area. The day was beautiful and besides all the water, trail was in good shape with only a little hobblebush here and there. Mud was deep on Kenduskeag just before summit. Views for miles. |
