Comments
Comments: Great day for a hike up to Passaconaway. Almost, ALMOST, felt like early fall temps. Alas, humidity was still in the air. About 2 miles in we saw Junior the Black Bear. Some clacking of our poles sent ‘em down the tree and off in the other direction. We didn’t see any other bears but thought it possible a mama was nearby and kept our voices loud heading up the trail.

Overall, this is a great trail with mixed grade. Quite a bit of it is easy going and then you’ll hit a steep uphill. Summit is wooded and unmarked. Great view from the lookout.
