2 or 3 spaces available at the trailhead later this morning. Road is a dead end at the snowmobile gate soon thereafter, so that field may be a viable overflow space. |

Lots of unmitigated erosion on the hiking trail. Sign for the turn off the snowmobile corridor (descending) is missing. |

Trails were damp in places this morning and greasy on the various ledges/rocks on the hiking trail portion. Snowmobile trail is very grassy right now. Took the extension back to the road (less of a distinct footbed). Apart from the tall grass/weeds, the snowmobile trail is in much better shape thanks to the repair work done a few years ago.
Though still quite humid, morning weather was nicer than expected with mostly, then partly sunny skies. Rain started to move in around 1. |
