Comments
Comments: A FINE day in the forest, Moriah for 48/48 July and round 7 finish. Trails in surprisingly good shape despite a constant barrage of emergency alerts on the tele last night saying strong t-storms in the vicinity. Lots of folks out doing WCM's, thru hikers, and others enjoy a quiet Stoney. Minor valley fog this morning was left after a stunner of an undercast on the way in. Trails got a little slick right by the steep section before the double junction, after that some mud was present along CM to the summit of Moriah. Laurel's abound in the ledge section. Booted it out of there in PR fashion, by a lot! I am blame my crazy friends for making me run. Ended up after this hiking into Lincoln Woods to give Rhockin' Rhonda (F/K/A Ms. Mix-a-lot) a rabbit to chase out on Lincoln Woods on the tail end of her ZB. Oh and then Wildlife Pond Trail on Zealand Road. Spreadin' the love around today :)
