Great redline in Wildcat Valley. Water crossings are all low right now. Awesome view from the Ramparts. I thought Wild River was kind of muddy then I got to Bog Brook! It has earned the name. A lot of luxuriant undergrowth on those two trails. Nice light drizzle kept bugs away. This area has a real remote wilderness feel to it. Saw two hikers coming up Bog Brook and one thru hiker at hut, where I bought some baked goods:) |
