| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking is on Jericho Road and that adds the 1.75 mile road walk. Looks like they've improved some areas with loads of dirt and grading. Not sure if that means they would consider opening the road again ... |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
The bridge at the end of Jericho Road has been washed out since Hurricane Irene, but someone has propped a ladder against the bridge, so you are able to get up to the main part of the bridge. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Rocky Branch Trail must get more traffic up to Isolation, but once we got on the Stairs Col Trail, there were lots of leaves, twigs, branches, etc. Trail was easy to follow, though. The last mile or so up to the Davis Path is quite steep and no joke. |

Black flies were moderately annoying, but not unbearable. |
