Nice moderate hike nothing too steep. 1.7 miles to the Outlook Loop. I skipped this to hit it on the way down. Mahoosuc Trail a little more rugged. Short steep climbs then breaks out to the summit & beautiful views once again! Sunny nice breeze. Don’t miss the plane crash site, a quick 10-15 min hike. Log book inside, kind of an eerie spot with wreckage scattered. Back down to the Outlook Loop, this is a must do! Ledges & OMG views!!! I will be back just for this, unbelievable!! Wished I could have stayed longer but long ride home. An amazing way to end my time up north. Only saw 7others. 4 hikes 5 peaks only saw 24 people total. Solitude beautiful views 52WAV fantastic |
