Comments
Comments: A few friends and I camped at Gilson Pond Campground and hiked to Monadnock, over to Monte Rosa and back. We used some trails that were new to many of us. Trails are in good shape, just a few areas of avoidable mud.

The bugs are out and are the typical spring nuisance. They stopped swarming above 2,000 ft or so, but I expect that to be short lived.
