Comments
Comments: Trail was mostly dry before the ascent with a few isolated spots of mud/standing water. On the climb some of the rocks were wet/slippery so needed to be mindful but not challenging. Monorail/snow around 3800 feet. Switched to snowshoes for the climb up onto Signal Ridge, took them off on the ridge, back on for the climb up to Carrigain summit. Probably unnecessary - could've gone with microspikes - but liked the extra flotation on the mushy sections of snow going uphill. On the descent used microspikes.
