Comments
Comments: A great morning hike of these peaks and views on the Kinsmans not needed today. The smell of sping is in the air despite light rime forming at upper levels on the trees.Remaining patchy icy stretches and monorail starts at about 3100 feet. While i was able to bareboot to South Kinsman, micros were a wise choice on the return until point of 3100. It was nice briefly chatting with another early a.m. hiker as well as the three others i met on the return trip. Snowshoes stayed in the trunk.
