Comments
Comments: An overcast but pleasant day for this hike. Nice views of the presidential range from Willey. We barebooted the dry and wet trail from the start to a good way up the Avalon on the snow pack which started at the first intersection. Spikes from there until A-Z/Avalon intersection on the descent. Firm snow pack at upper levels as long as you stay in the center. Overcast and comfortable with sporatic on/off very light drizzle which wasn't an issue. Congrats to Pam who gridded out this three-fer today!
