Dispatched a 6-in spruce across trail on the flats, after ridge |

| Comments: |
Bareboot up to the final steeps, where sections were a thick river of ice. Unless you bushwhacked off trail here, full crampons would have been the right choice. We had one pair of microspikes between us, which we shared, and we weren't comfortable proceeding up without proper equipment. Save it for another day! Encountered 4 other hikers, 2 dogs, 3 mossies. |
