Comments
Comments: Be careful at the first water crossing. My hiking partner slipped, fell in & got soaked. Had we not had a change of clothes, socks, and another pair of boots our hike would have been scrapped right at the beginning. The ledges had water and ice which was mostly avoidable with careful stepping. Spikes were on/off during the descent of Welch & Dickey, & in the col. My partner slipped on the descent of Dickey and bruised her elbow. Be careful as there are some slippery conditions on the ledges! Despite having a rough start & middle, she said she still enjoyed the hike.
