| Comments: |
Marion Davis Trail is melting fast, and as it's south facing, the trail was slightly muddy and remaining ice was soft enough that my rock spikes were the ticket.
It took a moment to find where the top of the Raymond Path went as there was a lot of snow and ice. The top third of the descent was treacherous, with super hard ice. I wished I had my crampons for this section. But I was able to find ways to bushwhack in the woods on the crusty snow bypassing some of the cliffy ice flows. The lower part of the trails passed through lovely woods and trails/woods were comprised of compacted crusty snow.
Thanks to my husband, Steve for the carspot so I could redline. |
