Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Long Pond Road in to the trailhead is gated off so you'll need to park in the hiker lot, which is supposedly further up High Street. We didn't see it because we parked on the side of Long Pond Road near the junction of High Street. There was active logging on the road and we found a note on our car when we got back asking us not to park there and to use the hiker lot further up High St. You have to walk an extra 6/10 of a mile or so on Long Pond due to the gate. It's a gentle uphill grade most of the way.

Comments
Comments: Blueberry Mountain Trail from the east

One of the easier hikes on the 52 with a View list with nothing very steep anywhere. Nice views of Moosilauke from the trail up and from the summit. Snow conditions were easy today, with a tiny bit of drifting in the open field areas approaching the summit.
