Our duration was 6 hours. Snow flurries and the temp hovered around 18-20 degrees. A brief stop in the Cabot Cabin to leave our packs and then hiked up to Cabot. It was fortunate for us that one other person had broke trail ahead of us as it would have been very difficult to navigate to the summit. The trails in general were easy with our snowshoes thanks to the previous hiker; he was the only person we saw on the trail today. There was a lot of ducking under trees...watch your head!!!
Three Salmon Sisters hiked together: Gina, Chantal, Carolyn. It was good day to be in the Whites! |
