Hiking Trail Conditions Report
Peaks
Peaks Mt. Moriah, NH
Trails
Trails: Herd path, Stony Brook Trail, Carter-Moriah Trail
Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Wednesday, March 3, 2021
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked on Mt Carter Drive, on the SW side of the road, just opposite the start of the herd path. Car was partly in the road, as the roadside was not plowed back to accomodate parking. No issues with either neighbors or police. The one "no trespassing" sign clearly refers to neigbors property, not the herd path.

Comments
Comments: Trail well packed down low, as there was a group of four behind me--we all used snowshoes. However, up high the snow was so hard wind packed that the snowshoes barely left a mark. Also, up high in places my tracks were blown over with drifting snow on my return. No views today.
