Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Some icy spots on the road in, old Doe Town Rd was snow covered but not slippery. Parking lot was not plowed after last storm but getting packed down by cars. Room for about 5 cars, and the road is too narrow for roadside parking, IMHO.

Comments
Comments: Trail is firm surface, lightly chopped up by microspikes/bare boots. It appears that there were few snowshoers after recent storms, as the packed trail is not even two snowshoes wide. It would be awkward to snowshoe it unless significant new snow were to fall. There is a fairly short windblown bisection as you approach the top which has not been broken with snowshoes, and is basically shallow post holes or a single boot track. It may be a little better after today's traffic, as we were up and down by 11. No snowmobiles up there today, so it was very nice up top though windy enough to stop us from lingering.
