Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked on Success Pond Road about 5 miles in and opposite a road/snomo trail labeled as Ball Cap Road on Forest Service topo. Today Success Pond Road was in pretty good shape, not very icy and had about 2 inches of unplowed snow along the traveled areas which were packed from travel. There was sufficient room to park if you got close to the snowbank so as not to block traffic. The road is being used by large logging trucks.

Comments
Comments: We started up the snomo track on Ball Cap road which continued for about 1.7 miles. The track turned back at a steep drainage which was a step-over. From here we broke trail through 18"-24" of soft dry snow continuing on the road to a log landing. From here we took a bearing easterly to the summit.
