The single crossing on Dicey's Mill Trail is bridged with a large packed snow-covered log. Not an issue for those with decent balance. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
All trails in excellent condition. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
The trails are fine for dogs except for two of the ledges on Blueberry Ledge Trail that will likely require a human to lift dogs up or down. Difficult with a large dog (ask me how I know!). |

| Comments: |
A beautiful day in the mountains - cold, but mild winds and a bluebird sky. We didn't see a single person all day and kept asking ourselves "where is everyone?" Recovering from Super Bowl festivities? The big snow from Feb. 1 & 2 was booted in and nicely consolidated until just below the ledges and on the lower half of Dicey's Mill Trail. Microspikes were perfect in these two sections. In between, consolidation was incomplete and snowshoes were the order of the day. The 1-2" of fresh snow from the previous night had drifted in spots on the Rollins Trail and we did our best to reform the trough with our three pairs of snowshoes. |
