First mile in was partially broken out by cross country skiers and some one barebooting it. Then I followed a barebooters tracks over oak ridge and down the other side to about 50 yards to the mount Parker trail then the tracks stopped and turned around. I was now looking at the next 1.5 miles of breaking trail. It was a slow slog to the summit but I made it. On my return I met 2 other people with snowshoes also coming up so from mount Parker trail up has had three set of snowshoe tracks up and back. Oak ridge was packing down nicely and very well packed down last 1.5 mile hike back out. Grab your snowshoes and grab this summit ðŸ‘ðŸ»âœŒðŸ» |
