Comments
Comments: signal ridge and carrigain notch trails a mix of wet and dry trail with a bit of mud.

headed up vose spur starting at the "big rock" most people use as a starting point. i found it to be mostly a bushwack from there to the ridge. some intermittent herd paths, but mostly just headed wnw until i made the ridge. once on the ridge i found various herd paths that were often interrupted by blowdowns. it was still important to keep some sort of bearing (particularly on the descent) as some of these paths don't necessarily go to where you might want them to. once above the talus field there is a very evident, and in some places impressively steep, herd path to the summit.

nice day. this is one of those peaks i've meant to climb for years, but somehow never got around to it. looked like it might rain for a while and i felt a few sprinkles higher up on the mountain, but then it blew past and i got a few nice views from the talus field on the way down. great to be out.
