Thought it would be a cool idea to do a continuous hike of the osceolas and Tecumseh by connecting them via Tripoli road and breaking most of it out after a snowstorm. Thank you to the man who hiked up Greely pond before us and spared us some of that misery .Greely should be super well packed now due to the groups we passed going up. Coming down Mt. Osceola trail was ok, maybe a couple feet deep at times, some deeper drifts , I don’t even know, I’m not good at estimating this stuff. . Tripoli road has about a foot? Mt. Tecumseh trail from the backside though, F*CK. It was like 3 ft deep in spots from drifts , especially the last really steep part . There was a f*ckton of snow, we were just sliding down on the steep part not accomplishing anything. Never again. Coming down from Tecumseh to Waterville valley was lovely at least, wonderfully well packed.
But anyways, if you hike between the osceolas and Tecumseh to Tripoli road bring your snowshoes . And good luck.
