Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: 2 small stepovers on Gunstock Mtn both where it parallels the Winter Shortcut. One easy stepover on Piper Mtn just past the Carriage Rd trailhead. Multiple people coming the other way went off trail rather than stay on the Brook Trail where it has very well marked switchbacks near the top of Gunstock.

Comments: While it had rained at lower elevations the previous day, there was fresh snow all along this hike. Very scenic!
