| Comments: |
A beautiful undercast day today. I didn't explore the gunstock summit as it was too foggy for any views and it was filled with skiers. No views from the belknap mountain firetower, but some great views on the old piper trail. The trails had all been previously packed down by snowshoes. There was a packed down path on the carriage road as well. There was hardly any postholes. I wore snowshoes throughout most of the hike. I didn't encounter any other hikers all day. |
