What a day to hike these trails. Sunday started out cold so I waited until 9:30 am to start, which I almost never do. People on the trail were awesome, funny, kind. It was an amazing out and back to get Willey and Field. I love seeing fellow solo hikers along the way who make you so happy and feel such comradery. I saw a bunch of solo female hikers and I wanted to say "you are amazing". Cheers to everyone who goes out there for whatever reason. It was a good day to be hiking 4,000 footers. The rime ice was pretty cool and when the sun broke through - the views were amazing. |
