One car at 6:45 am arrival, packed lot on return around 1 pm. Lot is reasonable size and can fit a couple dozen cars |

Trail is in great shape. Wet and muddy in spots in the upper elevations, but relatively dry and wide before the turn to Bald Peak |

Saw about 9 dogs, all doing well and enjoying the mud |

Hunted around for the trailhead for a bit due to Google Maps indicating our destination a few miles too early. Warm temperatures to start, hiked in short sleeves for much of the ascent!
Start of trail was relatively dry and wide. Much more traveled than expected. Skies steadily grew cloudier and light rain started about mid-morning. Pack covers were on before we reached North peak summit at 10:15 am. Upper trail was wet with some standing water in spots and mud. Very slick on ledges and ridge.
Thick fog on summits, no views today. Met most people on North peak over to South. Many groups coming from all different directions and lots continuing on to multiple peaks! Despite the weather conditions, still a great day in the mountains!
