Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The main crossing was tricky with rocks partially submerged (both at the current and former location). I have to think this will be quite tough this weekend if we get rain tomorrow.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A jungle gym blowdown near the start of the flats and a few others. Waterbars in need of work on the mountain proper. Some nasty trail creep too (like a tree becoming a rootball island).

Comments
Comments: Took some vacation time to get out before shoulder season conditions arrive.

Portions of the trail were dry, but mucky areas were indeed mucky and there were some extended stretches of running water. No snow or ice encountered today with the seasonably warm temperatures.

Still some nice late fall foliage down low, but the leaves on Carrigain proper are mostly down.

Breezy on the tower, but otherwise pretty mild weather today. Nice blue skies.
