| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Arrived at the parking lot around 8:30am on Sunday and there was plenty of parking available. There is an outhouse at the trailhead. Trail starts just across the street and down the road from the parking lot. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Almost all were fairly dried up. Any that did have flowing water were low and easy to rock hop. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails were in great condition. Once above treeline going up to South Baldface, we had to be very careful to watch for cairns and/or blazes (there are places along this route that we noticed both blue and yellow blazes, and some very faint blazes above treeline.) |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a number of dogs out on the trail today. |

| Comments: |
We did this loop clockwise, going over South Baldface first, then North Baldface, with a slight detour over to Eagle Crag on the Meader Ridge Trail and then down Baldface Circle Trail. Emerald Pool was a neat detour too at the end.
The climb/slabs up South Baldface are steep and definitely worth doing on the ascent vs. the descent.
Excellent views today with some leaves starting to change color. |
