Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Almost all were fairly dried up. Any that did have flowing water were low and easy to rock hop.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails were in great condition. Once above treeline going up to South Baldface, we had to be very careful to watch for cairns and/or blazes (there are places along this route that we noticed both blue and yellow blazes, and some very faint blazes above treeline.)
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a number of dogs out on the trail today.

Comments
Comments: We did this loop clockwise, going over South Baldface first, then North Baldface, with a slight detour over to Eagle Crag on the Meader Ridge Trail and then down Baldface Circle Trail. Emerald Pool was a neat detour too at the end.

The climb/slabs up South Baldface are steep and definitely worth doing on the ascent vs. the descent.

Excellent views today with some leaves starting to change color.
