Looking to finish this tab with only the shelter spur trail outstanding. Hiked to the sign for the shelter and campsites, the trail for which went to the right. We stayed straight. When we came to another junction we turned left towards the shelter and continued to the second privy. Views today were awesome: overcast but absolutely no wind so the scenery was reflected perfectly in the pond. Took the trail along the campsites back to the Sawyer Pond Trail. Plenty of campers with some stuff (coolers, kayaks, large tents) that I have no idea how they managed to carry back there. Nice and quiet despite the number of campers. Took the Sawyer Pond Trail back to the car. |
