Parked at the trailhead on Tripoli Road, $5 fee. We arrived around 3:40am, so plenty of parking :) When we left around 9am the parking lot was packed. |

On the descent saw a few happy doggos heading up. |

No bugs until around 8am, and started to notice them, but no issues. |

Perfect sunrise hike! The sky was crystal clear when we arrived around 3:40am. Started the hike at 3:51am, perfect weather, and a really nice trail. Arrived to the summit just in time for the sunrise and it was absolutely gorgeous! There were two others already at the summit. After enjoying the sunrise, we continued on to East Osceola. We took The Chimney down, quick stop at East Osceola, and then back up The Chimney, another stop at Osceola to enjoy the amazing views one more time, and then back down. On the way down the trail was getting really busy with hikers heading up. When we got back to the parking lot around 9am it was absolutely packed! Awesome hike, gorgeous sunrise and incredible views!!! |
