Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Couple of step overs - in today's heat they were challenging for us shorter-legged folks but nothing major

Dog-Related Notes: Saw a couple. All well behaved. All either leashed or voice controlled by owners. Nice to see.
Bugs
Bugs: Couple horseflies on the way out. Didn't use bug spray. Honestly, at that point I was so fried I was just hoping the darned things would land, get what they needed and stop harassing me. :P

Comments
Comments: Great day for a hike. I went up Whiteface, over, up Passaconaway. You know how we have wind chill charts that show the difference in "feel like" temperature during the winter? I think we should have heat/humidity charts to show the difference in "feel like" temperatures for days like today. Holy smokes! Glad I packed way more fluids than I thought I needed - though I did fill up at the spring going up Dicey's to Passaconaway as an extra precaution.
