Comments
Comments: Bushwhacked along the Carrigain Northeast Ridge and down to Vose Spur. From Carrigain Summit, I followed a herd path to a camp site. I then followed the ridge using herd paths and pushing through brief sections of tight woods. The descent from the end of the ridge down to the Vose/Carrigain Col was pretty difficult with some thick sections and very steep terrain. The col has a very nice talus field. It was a fairly straight forward bushwhack up the west side of Vose. From the summit, I followed herd paths all the way down to the Carrigain Notch Trail.
