A few blowdowns that were easy to get over, one was a duck under. It looks like there's a small section that has emerged with partial views after a few more trees came down and opened it up. It is right before one of the steeper rocky sections. |

Great Father's Day hike with my dad. We started early, 7:50ish, to try and beat the heat. We summited North Pack and continued the extra half mile to The Cliff view, which is one of my favorite spots. More open and better views than at the actual summit. We only passed two other people/groups on the way up and had the cliff to ourselves. After retracing our steps and descending we then passed many more groups. Trails are in great shape, no major issues, seemed like a few new blazes, but scary dry the entire trip. |
