Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Dirt section of Dorchester Road from ski area to trailhead was wet but passable. Locals have posted a sign that they will tow cars parked at the trailhead so we walked the 1.6 miles from the ski area but found three cars in the trailhead parking area.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: No water crossings. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: About a dozen blowdowns most uner 6 in. diameter but one large (2 foot diameter). Easily avoidable. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easily handled on four legs. 
Bugs
Bugs: Gnats are out but not yet in force. Saw a few mosquitoes and black flies. Recommend bug spray. 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Someone left a house up on the summit ;-) 
 
Comments
Comments: Fun dayhike and in great shape for early May. We did the 11.5 mile roundtrip in 5:45.
