wind was on and off, no bugs on the trail, decent amount up top when the wind took a small break |

middle to the top of falling waters was a MESS of snow and ice. people were doing it without traction, but my spikes helped SO MUCH. there wasn't much snow and ice on old bridal path, I almost put my spikes on for it, but was through before i really felt the need for them. oh, and the river on falling waters is going CRAZY! like, its almost worth skipping the top and just hiking up to see that. Seriously though, the trail gets so steep and icy a bit after you leave the awesomeness of the river, you might as well call it good there if you don't have spikes. |
