Comments
Comments: Mt Roberts is in great shape the whole way up. The way down High Ridge, Faraway , and Cold spring trail were muddy with some snow and post-holing on high ridge. About a mile from the end of Cold Spring I came within 25 yards of a black mother bear and a cub.. Thankfully was able to corral the pup and slowly back away and backtrack and head through the woods to pick up the trail about .3 miles downward.
