Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One small stream near beginning, plenty of rocks to hop across.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in great shape easy to follow markings except it was difficult to find any trail markings/blazes just below very steep ledges leading Dicky peak ascent on east side.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: We had two with us, saw about 4-5 other dogs - all well behaved and leashed.
Bugs
Bugs: None - temperature dropped well below freezing night before so I'm sure this helped.

Comments
Comments: Great early cool spring hike under clear blue skies. Trail was surprisingly challenging with a variety of fun ledge sections on three (one I'll call false) peaks to scramble up leading to great views. Some ice near tops but all easy to avoid/get around, just slows you down a bit. Trail is on wet side due to snowmelt runoff so I would recommend water resistant shoes. Only area where we had difficulty finding markings to direct us was on the ledge scrambles on the east side final ascent of Dicky peak otherwise the trail maintenance/markings throughout were top notch - hats off to those who volunteer!
