Excellent hike of Mt Monadnock. White Dot had a trace dusting of snow and trail was dry for the most part until upper elevations. I was able to bareboot until the intersection of the White Cross trail. At this point the trail had quite a bit of frozen ice flow and micros were absolutely needed. White cross trail had a substantial amount of light ice and continued with micros until about 2200 feet on descent. Met 13 hikers in passing social distance no issue. |
