Parked at 19 Mile. Only car at 7:30 other than an AMC truck that looked like it was parked overnight. One other car at 5pm.

I am fortunate to be able to get to this trail and back home on half a tank of gas and have no need to stop. Planed day off expecting to encounter few people. I saw one other person near the hut, and we were able to give each other plenty of distance to pass.
It's April, expext a little of everything. 19MB was mud and slush down low with sections of ice tranisitioning to soft snow and frozen granular, depending on how much sun it sees. Higher up pn Wildcate Ridge and Carter Moriah was everything form frozen granular, to slush over blue ice, to mashed potato. Snowshoes up Wildcat A to D and back, there were some frozen snowshoe and boot divets / postholes so went full crampons made the most sense decending A back to the hut. Back to snowshoes up Carter Dome, some signifcant postholes on Carter Moriah. Kept snoeshoes on all the way to the lower sections of Imp, which was mostly mud with short sections of ice.
These trails are only going to get worst over the next few weeks, probably a good time to avoid them anyways.
