Plenty of snowmobile traffic. Still 100% snow-covered but bare-spots are just about to merge here and there.

Comments
Comments: Trails in superb condition. In the woods the surfaces are so hard and the snow so compact that you can walk anywhere (at least for as long as the temps stay below freezing). I did not bother with snowshoes today but used spikes all the way to the talus field on the bushwhack. Crampons from thereon to the summit and back down beyond the talus field.

There are several tracks along the bushwhack route. Different starting points but they all end the same place (at least I think so).

Once again I (disappointingly) found the content of the canister to be a solidly frozen block. I replaced the content and brought the "ice-block" home. It'll take a few days but I expect to be able to recover the 2 note-books. Anyone willing to carry the books back-up, please e-mail me. Otherwise, I'll head back up myself but not before the snow is gone.
