Comments
Comments: This was my first time hiking Polecat. Check in at Guest Services to pay $10 for day pass. They'll give you map and directions for Polecat hike. Stay on left side of ski trail when hiking up. Stay alert for skiers and snowboarders. Enjoyed my interaction with skiers. I broke trail from Wildcat D to A. You're welcome! There were three other snowshoers behind me who hiked a short distance beyond Wildcat D then turned back, otherwise it was just me on Wildcat Ridge Trail. Saw a number of Boreal Chickadees and White-winged Crossbills along the ridge. Canada Jays are on Wildcat Mountain. Beautiful views!
