A fine day indeed with great friends! Up Whiteface via Blueberry (Tom Wiggins appears rough broke also). Across the ridge and then o/b via Dicey. Outstanding views on the outlooks of Passaconaway of the Pemi, Maine and more. The LNT police have since ripped both new signs down.
We wore snowshoes car to car, the trail was getting chopped up by spikes/barefoots in the warm and strong sun. The trail was in great shape with very minimal post holing. I chose to take compass bearings on the descent of Dicey's and cut out several switchbacks. Ran into hiking royalty around Blueberry ledge cutoff too! Hey old man and the saw! (I was the Donaldson and Emmons fella) |
