i parked on south road in lempster a bit less than .5 miles north of the summer trailhead for silver where the plowed road ends. plenty of room to park in a large plowed out turn around. at this point the road turns into a snowmobile trail. |

i walked south road (snomo corridor) to the summer trailhead for silver. the silver mountain trail had seen prior travel and was a bit chewed up by boots. the snow was quite wet and sticky in the sun. less wet higher up. fantastic views from the summit as expected. returned in my tracks. |
