The lot is plowed, plus a couple extra spaces plowed out near the Kanc. That's where I had to park because I got a late start to avoid the very cold weather early on. |

Tons of people have hiked this trail so you could probably get by without snowshoes. The trail was mostly packed with a little unconsolidated snow on top. I wore snowshoes all day because I am lazy and like having the extra traction. Everyone must have been going the same direction around the loop as me because despite the full parking lot, I only saw a couple people. Great blue sky day with cold temps and moderate winds. This is a fun little hike. |
