Comments: Ascended to Mt. Tom first then across to Willey, ending on Avalon. I wore snowshoes from the start until descending to Avalon and then switched to spikes. As previously mentioned the range trail is narrow and riddled with postholes so if you want to make your hike a little easier (for everyone :) ), wear your snowshoes.
